A quick and easy method for protecting seedlings from ducks, squirrels, and wascally wabbits.
The Problem:
Recently I trans-potted several trays of seedlings. I had no space in my propagation room. My hoop house was full too. Nice weather. Put them outside, right? I walked out the door and practically tripped over a baby bunny!
Desperate for some way to protect my little babies from Wascally Wabbits, I spied a roll of cheap surplus fencing. Cutting off a rectangular piece I cut notches from the corners, formed it into a half cylinder and bent the wires to wrap and hold the contraption in place.
One piece of scrap fencing. One tool (tin snips). Ten minutes construction time!
Protected seedlings!
